For The Love Of B-Movies: Matt Loftus
These days every Tom, Dick or Matt can start up there own YouTube channel. Becoming a media mogul is only a few clicks away. But once you've registered and you're presented with a blank canvas waiting to be filled with content to entertain the baying billions who surf merrily through YouTube, what do you do? Upload found footage from the Weird Wide Web? That's what the Weird Retro YouTube channel is filled with. Or do you put your money where you mouth is and take the time and effort to put yourself out there and create your own shows, films, and utterly random nonsense for a global audience?
Anyone that fully commits themselves to developing a channel filled with their own content should be admired. Taking there time to entertain the media savvy masses. |
Meet Matt Loftus, self described writer, director and film-making OCD machine. Matt's been making short films since he was 14 years old, and has an unbridled passion for cult and b-movies. To such an extent that he has his own YouTube channel, where he posts quirky and irreverent reviews of bargain basket b-movies he's come across. Reviews aside Matt's channel is jam-packed full of home-made short-films, comedy sketches and all manner of random madness, to keep any YouTube channel surfer satisfied.
As Matt himself says, "... why not join me in checking out some of the more zany movies that exist on the far far FAR side of Hollywood?" |
